Privacy and Cookie Policy

This notice serves both as the information notice required by Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and as the privacy notice under the GDPR for visitors from the European Economic Area.

The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from abuse, Cloudflare briefly processes technical data such as your IP address and request details. This processing is necessary to provide the service (KVKK art. 5/2-f, legitimate interest; GDPR art. 6/1-f).

Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookie and creates no identifier for you; it collects aggregate page-view data only.

The site has no forms, accounts or advertising. Your data is never sold or shared for marketing.

Google Analytics 4 runs only if you answer the cookie notice with “Accept”. It then sets the _ga and _ga_* cookies in your browser (lifetime: 2 years). They tell one visit from another and measure which pages are viewed, the device and browser type, and an approximate location (country, city).

The legal basis is your consent (KVKK art. 5/1; GDPR art. 6/1-a). Until you answer, and if you choose “Decline”, no Google Analytics cookie is set. The data is processed by Google LLC and may be transferred to the United States; Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

You can withdraw your consent at any time with the button at the end of this page. Cookies already set can be deleted in your browser settings.

These two cookies are needed for the site to work and require no consent (KVKK art. 5/2-f; GDPR art. 6/1-f):

• sunsato_consent — remembers your cookie choice (accept or decline) for 1 year, so the notice is not shown on every visit.
• sunsato-locale — remembers your language choice for 1 year; set only when you switch language.

If you e-mail info@sunsato.com, your name, e-mail address and message are processed only to reply and to carry on the correspondence (KVKK art. 5/2-c and 5/2-f; GDPR art. 6/1-b and 6/1-f). The correspondence is kept for as long as its subject requires.

Under KVKK art. 11 and the GDPR you have the right to:

• Learn whether your personal data is processed and, if so, request information about it
• Learn the purpose of the processing and whether the data is used in line with it
• Know the third parties, in Türkiye or abroad, to which it is transferred
• Have incomplete or inaccurate data corrected, and have it erased or destroyed where the conditions are met
• Object to processing and withdraw the consent you gave
• Claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing
• Lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board or, if you live in the European Economic Area, with your own supervisory authority

Send your request to info@sunsato.com. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days at the latest (KVKK art. 13; one month under the GDPR). We may ask for additional information to verify your identity.
